About the night

VELVET is an exclusive, intimate dinner experience designed for the grown and sexy sapphics of a certain age and experience. Think a dinner party with your most beautiful people — soft lighting, sexy R&B courtesy of DJ Ohla, a live performance by Nadiya Rennae, a delicious menu of food and drinks, and a photographer casually capturing the whole night. This is the kind of night you get dressed up for. Bring your person, bring your friends, bring your finest self. And we’ll meet you there.

• Is this a ticketed event or can I walk up?

  This is a sold out event and the kick off to the Weekend. Please have your ticket (digital or printed) and your ID ready at the door.

• I have a Weekend Pass. Where do I collect?

  Tonight there will be a table to register you for your full weekend experience!

• Is food included in my ticket?

  Food is ordered and paid for separately the evening of the event — the custom menu above is available all night alongside a full bar. Your ticket covers entry, the performance, the music, and this grown sensual sapphic experience.

• Is parking available?

  We strongly recommend rideshare for VELVET. If you're staying at The Freehand Hotel flat rate parking is available.

• What if I'm not sure my outfit fits the dress code?

  Check the Pinterest board linked above — it'll give you a clear visual. The short answer: stay in warm, rich tones with intentional fabric choices. If you're unsure, go more elevated, not less.

• Will there be a photographer all night?

  Yes — there will be an on-site photographer casually capturing the evening. Come camera-ready.
